The outlook is a program by Microsoft to enable
the user to send and receive email on their Computer. Like other email

Steps to configure a new Outlook profile

Go to Control panel and click
on Mail.

dialogue box will appear, click on Data Files from here.

Select the Data files tab in
the account settings.

Create a new profile in MS Outlook
- ·
Go to Control Panel and click
on Mail followed by show profiles.

Select the Outlook profile.
- ·
Click 0on ADD.
- ·
Now enter a new profile name
and click OK

Type your email credentials in
the Add new dialog box and click Next.
- ·
Click on Finish.
Configure the new profile as Default
profile
- ·
Go to Control panel then mail.
Click on Show profiles.
- ·
Now from the Always use this
profile drop-down menu, choose the new profile.
- ·
Click OK.
If the New profile creation is not
feasible, us the below alternate way:
- ·
Open MS Outlook and go to
Files.
- ·
Click on Account settings then
again Account settings.
- ·
Select the account which is
showing error and click on Change folder icon.
- ·
Click on New Outlook Data File
and enter a name.
- ·
Click OK.
- ·
Now to select inbox folder, you
need to expand the folders of the new data file.
- ·
Click OK.
- ·
Tap on Data Files and then
Click on Remove to delete the newly created data file.
- ·
Now close the Account Settings
window and click on Send/receive option.
If the above ways are not working for you
and you are not able to fix Outlook data file cannot be accessed error, then
take the help of some recovery tools. It is possible that the Outlook data file
is corrupt and needs repair.
